President Bush seems to follow us where ever we go!

As we stepped out of the plane in Rome, we saw Air Force 1 on the tarmac.
Here is the president's car in London (you cannot really see him, but he is actually facing the other direction and waving).

Big Ben + The Houses of Parliment

As you can probably tell, it was a little too cold for summer clothes in London.
However, Victor and Brittani's zeal for king and country kept them warm.
(JK - they are not British)

Expecto Patronum

Here we come Hogwarts!

More English Gardens

Life isn't worth while unless you stop to smell the roses.
Here Victor is about to enter the tree cave. (It hollow inside)

London - A Walk through the Park (English Gardens - rather lovely)

St. James Park
As you can tell, the group is pretty stoked about the English Gardens.

Exterior of Basilica

Inside St. Peters Basilica - the largest Church in the world (5.7 acres)

We hopped over the French border for 10 minutes and stopped at a boulangerie for a few tasty desserts and croussant.
Here is a close up of the tart that Brit, Brennan, and I tried.

Stuttgart

Crepes Anyone?

After the museum, a few of us could not resist the delicious smell of crepes.
We walked around, looked at the palace and old castle, then went shopping.
Sorry, let me rephrase: the girls went clothes shopping (where they seemed to find a few things), Hansmartin went to the sports shop (at least twice), and then Victor and I each got a Halbes Hänchen (Half Chicken) w/ a side of french fries covered in mayonnaise.
All in all a great day :)

Mercedes Museum

Here is the Mercedes Museum, where we saw the first automobile ever created.
Additionally, we saw some pretty cool, new cars as well.

5 Course French Dinner

Just after the 1st course (there were 5 total)

Brennan is perplexed by the multitudes of French cheese (and yes, they, the French, eat their cheese after the main course).

New pictures!!

Me, trying to take a picture of the church tower in Ulm
All of us in Ulm
Pretty much the coolest guy I've ever met... and he didn't even say a word. He'd juststand there, looking like a statue, until you came up.. then he'd dance with you, or just do all of this really funny stuff. It was so cool!
Tim and Scott, eating lunch in Munic
Ulm... really really tall church tower
knödle!! aka the stuff I tried to make for class! This is what it REALLy looks like.
all ready to go to munic!

Reception w/ Oberburgermeisterin (Mayor)

Here we are at the mayoral reception.
Sorry, Mrs. Aagard just pointed out that I missed something....
Their toilet paper is fairly normal, so I am saving my present from Vicki for when we go to Rome and London.... :)

Munich/München Cont. (a few more images)

A few more images of the days sites.

A stain glass window in side a church in Münich.

The Rathaus (city hall) in Münich - and yes, at 11:00 every day the figures seen underneath the clock dance much in the same way similar dancers would on a cuckoo clock.

Yet another church, this one is either Rococo or Baroque - incredibly ornate.

More Munich

Here is most of the group on top of the TV Tower.

Here were are having an authentic Bavarian lunch.

Munich/München

We toured the Allianz Arena where Bayern München plays.

Went to the Olympic Park (created for the 72' Olympics)
Picture  of the BMW factory from on top of the tower
